MacOS users:

10
We prefer to build MIOS Studio for MacOS 10.8, so that people who haven't
11
upgraded their Mac to newer OS versions can run the tool.
12

13
Compilation will fail if you are trying newer SDKs (e.g. 10.13) due
14
to incompatibilities.
15

16
The 10.8 SDK isn't included into Xcode anymore, but can be easily
17
installed the following way:
18

19

20
1) close Xcode
21

22
2) download the SDK from http://www.midibox.org/macos_support/MacOSX10.8.sdk.tgz
23

24
3) if downloaded via Safari, the file will probably unzipped and renamed to MacOSX10.8.sdk.tar
25
   Unpack the tar file with:
26
   cd ~/Downloads
27
   tar xfv MacOSX10.8.sdk.tar
28

2585 tk 29
4) Move this SDK to Xcode installation folder
30
   sudo mv MacOSX10.8.sdk /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs
31

32
5) tell Xcode to accept older SDK versions with:
2584 tk 33
   sudo /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Set :MinimumSDKVersion 10.8" /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Info.plist
34

2585 tk 35
6) open Xcode - MIOS Studio should now build fine.

If you did changes in the build setup which won't work, you could revert to the original version
